I Just downloaded this game here and it run normally. Because this game checks CD from our CD Drive automatically, what we need to do is change our CD drive setting.

1. go to control panel
2. go to system manager tools
3. go to computer management
4. choose Disk Management and change your CD/DVD drive setting. (I just disconnect my real CD drive when I am going to play this game)

Of course you will still need to mount disc 1 image to your virtual CD drive. Hope my experience could make some help for you guys.

P.S. Because My English is not good, Hope you guys understand what I wrote. ;)
